Install the Rigi Snapshot app

OS version requirements

  • macOS 14.0+.

  • Windows 10+.

Download the Rigi Snapshot version appropriate for your OS via this link.

For macOS:

  1. Install the Rigi Snapshot app on your local machine:

    1. Open the DMG file.

    2. Drag the Rigi Snapshot into the Applications folder.

  2. Grant the necessary permissions to the Snapshot app:

    1. Open the Rigi Snapshot app.

    2. In the Screen Recording popup, select Open System Settings.

    3. In the Screen & System Audio Recording display, located in System Settings > Privacy & Security, toggle the switch on the right for the Rigi Snapshot app.

    4. Close and reopen the Rigi Snapshot app.

For Windows: Install the Rigi Snapshot app on your local machine.

The installer must be run as an administrator.

Important

For optimal text recognition, the English (United States) language pack must be installed on your system. If you do not have it yet, in the Windows settings, select Time & Language > Language, click the Add a language button, and select the English (United States) option.
