How can I capture tooltips?
When you capture pages manually, some tooltip elements may not appear in the capture.
To ensure tooltips are captured correctly, use one of the following options:
1. Capture using a hotkey.
Some tooltips only render correctly when captured via a hotkey.
The hotkey can be set in your account settings (for details, see Configure your account settings – Preferences) or in the Capture HTML Previews dialog. The default hotkey is F7.

Trigger the tooltip on the page.
Press the hotkey to capture the screen.
Verify in the capture preview that the tooltip is visible. If the tooltip is captured correctly, proceed as usual.
2. Use auto-capture.
If the hotkey capture does not work or you want to automate the process, perform the following steps:
In the Capture manager, enable the Auto-Capturing feature.

Recapture the previews of the required screens.
Check the preview to confirm whether the tooltip is included. If the tooltips are still missing, proceed to the next option.
3. Disable overlay via Application Profile.
Some applications require disabling overlays to capture tooltips.
In the top right-hand corner of the display, select
(system menu) > Server Settings .The Server Settings section is only available to Rigi subscribers. If you do not have access, ask your PM to assign the required role.
In the right-hand menu, select Context > Application profile.
Add a new application profile or click the
icon to edit an existing one (for details, see Configure application profiles).
In the Rigi script settings screen, set the disableOverlay setting value to True.
Click the Create or Update button to save the changes.
Open your Rigi project.
In the left-hand side menu, select Settings > Context > URLs
If you do not have access to this setting, ask your PM for the required permissions.
Add a new URL or hover over an existing one and click the
icon (for details, see Project settings – URLs).
Select the application profile you have configured in Steps 1-5.
Click the Add or Ok button to save the changes.
Recapture the screens with the tooltips.
