2. Creating a translation project in XTM Connect – HubSpot
Once you have selected the content that you want to send for translation in HubSpot, you create a translation project for the translatable content.
Make the settings you require for this translation project.
In the Add content tab screen, on the left, specify these settings, for the translation project:
UI element
Description
Project name
Enter the project name.
XTM Customer dropdown list
Select the Customer for whom this translation will be performed. Customers are defined in XTM Cloud.
XTM Template dropdown list
Select the XTM template that is to be applied for this translation project. XTM templates are configured in XTM Cloud. All settings in XTM templates are applied in XTM Connect.
Source language dropdown list
Select the translation project source language.
Target languages dropdown list
Select the translation project target language. Content can be sent for translation into one or more languages, in one project.
Active XTM projects (optional) dropdown list
If you want to update a translation of an existing text (for example, to bring it up to date after changes to the source text), select the relevant translation project from the dropdown. This is known as "resending a translation to XTM Cloud".
Due date (optional) date finder
If you want to set a due date for the translation, use the date finder to do so.
Now send the project to the Translation queue, where it will wait until it is sent to XTM Cloud for translation: at the bottom of the screen, in the center, select the Send for translation button.
Result: a screen message confirms that you have sent the content items to the Translation queue. To close the message, select the icon on the right. You return to the Add content tab screen.
Note
If required, you can check the project's status and other details in the Translation queue, if you send it there. See Checking a translation project's details and translation status.
