XTM Connect – HubSpot (Locale) 1.0

Translating landing pages or site pages

The steps below, which are involved in sending landing pages and site pages for translation in XTM Cloud, are identical for these two content types, and different to the steps involved in sending HubSpot email templates for translation.

For brevity, the instruction "In the top right-hand corner of the [name] screen, select the Next button." has been shortened to "Select the Next button.", below.

To send one or more HubSpot landing pages or site pages to XTM Cloud for translation, via XTM Connect – HubSpot (Locale), once you have performed the initial project creation steps described in Creating a translation project: initial steps, and selected Landing Pages or Site Pages, in the Resources section, in the Configure your resources screen, follow these steps:

  1. When you select the Next button, you see the What processor do you want to connect? screen. This contains all the translation-processing systems with which your XTM Connect (Locale) instance is integrated.

  2. Select the XTM tile, for the XTM Cloud processor. You see the Connect XTM screen. This contains a list of existing connections from your XTM Connect (Locale) instance to different XTM Cloud instances, if they have already been configured.

  3. In the Project Creation screen, decide how to send your content for translation. Select the appropriate radio button:

    • Create new: create a new project in which to translate your selected content type, in XTM Cloud. For details, see Creating a new XTM Cloud translation project.

    • Update Existing: add your content to an existing translation project, in XTM Cloud. When you select this radio button, select the Next button. You see the Customer Settings screen. Go to the next step in this procedure.

  4. From the Customer Name dropdown, select the XTM Cloud customer for which you want to create the XTM Cloud translation project. You must select one of the listed customers: you cannot create the project without assigning it to a customer. You cannot create a new customer.

  5. Select the Next button. You see the Workflow Settings screen.

  6. From the Project dropdown, select the existing XTM Cloud translation project to which you want to send the selected HubSpot content type for translation. You must select one of the listed projects: you cannot create a new project.

  7. Select the Next button. You see an overview screen that contains the project's details and current processing status (pending).

  8. To launch the project immediately and send the selected HubSpot content to XTM Cloud for translation, select the Run Now button at the top of the screen.

Alternatively, to schedule a time at which the project is to run:
    1. Select the Settings icon to the right of the Run Now button.

    2. In the Trigger pane, select the Schedule button to view the workflow schedule settings.

    3. Use these settings to specify when the project workflow is to be executed.

    4. To save and apply these settings, select the Save button In the top right-hand corner of the pane. You return to the project overview screen. If required, you can still override your scheduling settings now by selecting the Run Now button at the top of the screen.

      Note

Webhooks are also an option for triggering the starting of a project. This is supported by the XTM Connect (Locale) platform, but not all data sources have this option.
