Creating a new XTM Cloud translation project

This topic is intended for Administrators who configure XTM Connect – HubSpot (Locale) and Project Managers who use it to create translation projects.

In the Project Creation screen, you can decide to create a new XTM Cloud translation project in which to translate the content type you have selected, instead of using an existing project. To do so, follow the steps below.

For brevity, the instruction "In the top right-hand corner of the [name] screen, select the Next button." has been shortened to "Select the Next button.", below.

To create a new XTM Cloud translation project:

  1. In the Project Creation screen, select the Create new radio button.

  2. Select the Next button. You see the Customer Settings screen.

  3. From the Customer Name dropdown, select the XTM Cloud customer for which you want to create the XTM Cloud translation project. You must select one of the listed customers: you cannot create a new customer.

  4. Select the Next button. You see the Workflow Settings screen. In it, you select an XTM Cloud project template in which the workflow that you require for your new project is defined. You must select one of the listed project templates: you cannot create a new project template.

  5. Select the Next button. You see an overview screen that contains the new project's details and current processing status (pending).

  6. To launch the project immediately and send the selected HubSpot content to XTM Cloud for translation, select the Run Now button at the top of the screen.

    Alternatively, to schedule a time at which the project is to run:

    1. Select the Settings icon to the right of the Run Now button.

    2. In the Trigger pane, select the Schedule button to view the workflow schedule settings.

    3. Use these settings to specify when the project workflow is to be executed.

    4. To save and apply these settings, select the Save button In the top right-hand corner of the pane. You return to the project overview screen. If required, you can still override your scheduling settings now by selecting the Run Now button at the top of the screen.

      Note

      Webhooks are also an option for triggering the starting of a project. This is supported by the XTM Connect (Locale) platform, but not all data sources have this option.
