Notifications
XTM Connect – Oracle Content Management presents system notifications with a bell icon 
next to the Notifications at the top of the screen, on the right. Only error notifications are displayed there. As soon as at least one error takes place, a red dot on the bell icon indicates there is a new error message.
When you select the Notifications button, the red dot and brackets disappear, and XTM Connect – Oracle Content Management displays a popup containing a list of notifications with "toast" feedback messages. Messages collected there are counted and their number is put in brackets.
"Toast" messages inform you about errors that occurred while trying to perform project actions. The errors are indicated by a red icon with an exclamation mark.
In the popup:
the notifications are sorted from the newest to the oldest
new notifications are bold (once you select the toast message or expand the down arrow, the message stops being bold, i.e. it is not treated as a new one anymore)
