Displaying notifications
If there is a system notification about a project, this is shown by a bell icon with a red dot on it, next to the Notifications at the top of the screen, on the right.
Select the Notifications button at the top of the screen, on the right.
The red dot and brackets containing the number of notifications disappear, and XTM Connect – Oracle Content Management displays a popup containing a list of notifications with "toast" feedback messages. You will see new notifications marked in bold, and once you click on a toast message, or expand its down arrow icon, it makes the message a read one (i.e. it is not treated as new anymore).
Select a notification message and you can do the following:
see how many unread notifications there are.
XTM Connect – Oracle Content Management displays a number to the right of the Notifications button at the top of the screen. This tells you how many unread notifications there are.
see new notifications marked in bold, and the read ones in regular font.
mark it as read by clicking on it in the list or expanding the down arrow icon on the right of the selected notification.
Note
When you select a notification from the list, and read it, it is marked as read and the "unread notifications" number is reduced by one.
display more of a notification text in the list by selecting the down arrow icon on the right of the selected notification.
move back to the start of the notification text by selecting the up arrow icon on the right of the selected notification.
remove the notification from the notifications list by selecting the Clear icon which XTM Connect – Oracle Content Management displays at the bottom right of the notification text when you click on the notification.
close the popup by clicking on the bell icon again or by clicking outside the popup.
