Canceling a translation project

You can only cancel translation projects whose XTM Status is:

  • Sent

  • In progress

If you cancel a translation project, what happens to the project is specified in the configuration for your instance of XTM Connect – Oracle Content Management by your Client administrator.

Note

When configuring the Oracle profile in the XTM CLOUD SETTINGS section, Client administrator configures the In XTM Connect – Oracle Content Management: remove canceled XTM Cloud jobs after (in days) option. This option sets the number of days after which XTM Connect – Oracle Content Management deletes jobs that have been canceled in the XTM Connect – Oracle Content Management Translation Queue.

To cancel a translation project:
  1. Find the project that you want to cancel and select the context menu icon elipsis.svg located on the far right side of the screen, in the project line.

  2. From the context menu list, select the Cancel option.

    The Cancel popup is displayed and you are prompted to cancel the project. The popup also displays a warning that if you cancel this project, it will be canceled for each target language and jobs, and asking if you are sure to cancel because this action cannot be undone.

  3. In the Cancel popup:

    • to confirm that you want to cancel the project, select Cancel project.

      A screen message confirms that you have saved the newly set due date(s) for the project(s).

    • if you do not want to cancel the project, select Cancel.

      The Cancel popup closes.
