XTM Connect – Oracle Content Management 1.0/Translation Requester Guide

Exporting project details to MS Excel

In the Translation queue tab screen, you can export project details to an MS Excel file. You can either export:

The following categories of details are exported for each project:

  • Project name

  • File name

  • Source language

  • Target language

  • XTM Customer

  • Created date

  • Due date

  • XTM workflow step

  • Progress

  • XTM Status

Note

The exported MS Excel spreadsheet might not contain a particular project-specific value because the value has not been defined in that project, even if the column heading for that value is listed in the spreadsheet. Examples: Due date and XTM workflow step.

To export the project details for all projects to an MS Excel file:
  1. At the top of the screen, on the right, select the Export button.

XTM Connect – Oracle Content Management exports the following details to an MS Excel spreadsheet and places it in your computer's local Downloads folder:

    • all project details for all projects in the list from all pages if you have not used filters

    • the details for the selected projects if you have used any filters

  2. You can now access the MS Excel spreadsheet there, and process it as required.

Warning

If a very large number of projects are listed in the Translation queue, and you export all their details, the resulting MS Excel spreadsheet might be very large, and contain a lot of unuseful data. Consider if it is really necessary to export the details for all projects to Excel.
