Automatic continuous project creation
To enable automatic continuous project creation, do the following in the Project creation section during configuration bucket creation or while editing a configuration bucket:
For the Create project parameter, select the Automatically option.
Select the Continuous project checkbox.
You can use continuous projects to update the files within an existing, active project, instead of creating a new project every time a file within your repository is updated with new content.
If the project set as a continuous project has been deactivated, XTM Connect – Git will try to reactivate the archived project.
In the relevant Git repository, a new file has been committed or an existing file has been updated.
In your XTM Cloud instance, a new task is created automatically.
To view the task, from the top navigation bar, select XTM Connect and then the Tasks tab. If necessary, refresh the view. In the Tasks tab screen, the Synchronized value is displayed in the Status column.
After the new task has been created, a new project is also created automatically in your XTM Cloud instance.
To view the project, from the top navigation bar, select Projects and then select the relevant project. If necessary, refresh the view.
Note
For details of how to manage and edit the project, go to the XTM Cloud documentation page, select the relevant version of XTM Cloud instance and then search for the Managing projects section.
