Regenerating a project estimate

In XTM Portal, you can regenerate an estimate for a project in XTM Cloud.

Important

Project estimate regeneration is only possible if full cost generation has been enabled for your XTM Portal instance by XTM Support. For details, see Checking project cost details.

Note

Only users with the XTM Portal Administrator role and project creators can regenerate a project estimate.

XTM Portal users with the Translation requester role, with whom you have shared a project, cannot re-estimate it.

Procedure. To regenerate an estimate for a project in XTM Cloud:

  1. Log in to XTM Portal.

  2. In the menu on the left of the screen, select the project list icon list_alt.svg.

  3. In the XTM Portal Project list screen, find the project whose estimate you want to regenerate. You can use filters to search for the relevant project. For details, see Filtering projects.

  4. Select the context menu icon more_vert.svg, which is located on the right-hand side of the screen in the relevant project line.

  5. From the dropdown, select the Regenerate estimate option.

Result: the project estimate is regenerated.
