Filtering projects

In XTM Portal, you can filter projects in the Project list screen.

Procedure. To filter projects in XTM Portal:
  1. Log in to XTM Portal.

  2. In the menu on the left of the screen, select the project list icon list_alt.svg.

  3. At the top of the Project list screen, you see the following simple filters:

    • ID. To search for a project by its ID, enter the project ID in the text field.

    • Project name. To search for a project by its name, insert the project name in the text field.

    • Status. To search for a project by its completion status, select one of the following statuses from the dropdown:

      • Not started.

      • Started.

      • Finished.

    • Customer. To search for a project by the customer for whom it has been created, in the dropdown, select the relevant customer. Multiple selection is possible.

    Result: the Project list is automatically adjusted to the selected filter values.

  4. If you need more filtering options, select the Advanced search button in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Now, at the top of the Project list screen, you see these filters:

    • ID. To search for a project by its ID, enter the project ID in the text field.

    • Project name. To search for a project by its name, insert the project name in the text field.

    • Status. To search for a project by its completion status, select one of the following statuses from the dropdown:

      • Not started.

      • Started.

      • Finished.

    • Customer. To search for a project by the customer for whom it has been created, in the dropdown, select the relevant customer. Multiple selection is possible.

    • Source language. To search for projects by a source language, select one or more languages.

    • Target languages. To search for projects by target languages, select one or more languages.

    • Estimated. To search for a project by its estimation status, select one of the following options from the dropdown:

      • No: to search for projects that do not have an estimation.

      • Yes: to search for projects that have an estimation.

    • Contains comments. To search for a project according to whether it contains comments, select one of the following options from the dropdown:

      • No: to search for projects that do not have any comments.

      • Yes: to search for projects that have comments.

    • Creation date from. To search for projects created after a particular date, select it from the date picker.

    • Creation date to. To search for projects created before a particular date, select it from the date picker.

    • Due date from. To search for projects that are due after a particular date, select it from the date picker.

    • Due date to. To search for projects that are due before a particular date, select it from the date picker.

    • Estimation date from. To search for projects whose estimation date falls after a particular date, select it from the date picker.

    • Estimation date to. To search for projects whose estimation date falls before a particular date, select it from the date picker.

    Result: the Project list is automatically adjusted to match the selected filter values.

  5. To hide advanced filters, select the Advanced search button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

    Result: the advanced filters are hidden. In the project list, you only see simple filters.

  6. To clear:

    • a single filter, depending on the filter type, do one of the following:

      • for the text fields, select the Clear value icon x-solid.svg next to the filter you want to remove.

      • for the dropdowns, select the empty value.

      • for the date filters, open the date picker and select the Clear button.

      • for multiple section fields, select the close icon x-solid.svg next to the value that you want to remove. To remove all values, select the Clear value icon x-solid.svg next to the filter you want to clear.

    • all filters, select the Reset search button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

    Result: the filter values are cleared.
