Tracked changes feature
Note
This is a Beta feature.
If the tracked changes feature has been enabled for your XTM Cloud instance and selected by your Project Manager for the project (for details, see Project Editor – General information: General information), the feature is available to all XTM Workbench users.
Once you enable Tracking changes mode in XTM Workbench, you can work in Tracking changes mode. In it, you clearly see the target segment changes made by you or by another XTM Workbench user. You can also accept the tracked changes or reject the tracked changes that you see. To help you navigate between tracked changes, you can set shortcuts for the tracking changes-related actions.
You can also bulk-accept all tracked changes in a file (for details, see Accepting all tracked changes in a file) or bulk-reject all tracked changes in a file (for details, see Rejecting all tracked changes in a file).
When the tracked changes feature is enabled in a project, it can alter the behavior and functions of certain other XTM Workbench and XTM Cloud features in that project, listed below. However, this will not have any negative effects on projects that are created, or already exist, in XTM Cloud. For details, see:
Using segment filters with tracked changes. For details, see Apply filters popup.
Using Find and replace with tracked changes. For details, see Find and replace.
Running QA checks. For details, see Quality Assurance.
