The QA warnings in the QA docked panel
. The QA warnings which are displayed in the QA docked panel include:

  • segment number.

  • warning category.

  • issue description: Hover over the warning icon in the Status column for detailed information on the QA warning.

Use the up and down arrows to navigate through the issues in the panel.

Procedure. Processing QA warnings in the QA panel

  1. Select the warning to activate in XTM Workbench the segment it relates to. A checkbox next to a warning indicates that an action is possible.

  2. Hover over the warning in the QA panel so that it is highlighted blue.

Note

Warnings without checkboxes indicate Quality issues where no action is possible.

Processing multiple warnings in the QA panel

QA panel enables you to speed up the review process by processing multiple warnings in one go.

Important

If the tracked changes feature is enabled in the project (for details, see Project Editor – General information: General information), the QA check will only consider:

  • plain text in all segments for which you run the QA check.

  • added text in all segments for which you run the QA check. For details, see Working in Tracking changes mode.

To avoid false positive results, the deleted text in the segments, for which you run the QA check, will be ignored. (For details, see Working in Tracking changes mode).
