Searching for user groups
You can use the procedure below to restrict the display to one or more specific user groups in the Users > User groups tab screen.
Select the Users > User groups tab.
Use one or more of the search methods to display required user groups:
Use the required Operator to find user groups that meet one or all of the search criteria. The operators apply to the Quick filters and the search field. The values are:
AND (default) – user groups must meet all Quick filters criteria and the value entered in the search field, if relevant.
OR – user groups must meet one of the Quick filters criteria or the value entered in the search field, if relevant.
Use Quick filters to display the required user groups. You can filter user groups by:
Languages. To use this filter category, select the Languages label. The Filter by language combination popup is displayed. In it, select options for the Source language and Target languages filters, as described below. You can use one or both filters at the same time. To display user groups that have the required language combinations, select Apply. Your selected filter criteria are displayed in a chip above the table. To clear your selection, select the close icon
on the right-hand side of the chip. Alternatively, select the Clear button in the Filter by language combination popup. The filters are:Source language – in the dropdown list, select one source language.
If you only use this filter, in the User groups list, you only see user groups that have the specified language among their source languages.
If you also select one or more Target languages, in the Users list, you only see user groups that have at least one of the specified language combinations. These combinations must consist of the selected source and any of the selected target languages.
Target languages – in the dropdown list, select one or more source languages. Your selected languages are displayed in the chips in the Target languages field. To clear your selection, select the close icon
on the right-hand side of the relevant chip.If you only use this filter, in the User groups list, you only see user groups that have at least one of the specified languages among their target languages.
If you also select a Source language, in the Users list, you only see user groups that have at least one of the specified language combinations. These combinations must consist of the selected source and any of the selected target languages.
Enter the searched user's first or last name in the search field and select the Search button. XTM Cloud will display all groups in which the searched-for user is a member.
Result: XTM Cloud displays all user groups that meet your search criteria. You can now manage the required user groups.
