XTM Cloud 26.2

Activating AI Post-Edit at global level

Note

If you use an XTM-provided LLM subscription, you must purchase an AI Words allowance for your entire XTM Cloud instance. AI Words are source words sent to LLMs. Words from the target segment, translation memory (TM), terminology, and context segments are NOT counted as AI Words. For details about AI Words: calculation and deduction for projects, see AI Words in XTM Cloud. For pricing information, contact your account manager.

If you are using your own LLM keys, the size of the source text, terminology, TM records, and context segments can influence the LLM usage costs. For details, refer to your LLM subscription rules.

As a user with the XTM Cloud Administrator role, you can activate the AI Post-Edit feature at global level. When you do so, Project Managers can then use automatic steps with the AI Post-Edit feature in their project workflows.

Procedure. To activate the AI Post-Edit feature at global level:
  1. Select Configuration > Settings > AI Control Center > Features.

  2. In the Features tab screen, in the AI Post-Edit section, select the Manage button.

Result: the AI Post-Edit settings pane is displayed on the right-hand side of the Features tab screen.

  3. Select the Activate button in the bottom right-hand corner of the AI Post-Edit settings pane.

You can also make global-level AI Post-Edit settings while activating the feature. For details, see Managing AI Post-Edit at global level.

Result: the AI Post-Edit feature is active in your XTM Cloud instance. As a confirmation, in the bottom left-hand corner of the AI Post-Edit section, you see the Activated black_circle_checkmark.svg label.

    Important

Once you have activated the AI Post-Edit feature at global level, create one or more automatic steps that leverage this function (for details, see Workflow step settings). Then, you can create one or more workflow definitions that contain such automatic steps (for details, see Creating workflow definitions). Project Managers will be able to use these workflow steps or entire workflow definitions for their projects.
