What's new in XTM Cloud 25.6
XTM Cloud updates:
XTM Agent
Beta tests finished for XTM Agent. It has been designed to support Project Managers in their everyday tasks. New features will be rolled out as of February 2026. For details, see XTM Agent.
XTM Cloud product support is requested free of charge, but must be enabled by an Administrator. For details, see Activating XTM Agent at global level.

Following feedback from our Beta testers, we have significantly improved XTM Agent's capabilities:
You can now ask XTM Agent to suggest Linguists for your project and even to assign them to it. For details, see Working with XTM Agent.
You can now copy XTM Agent's responses for your future use or to share them with your team quickly. For details, see Copying XTM Agent responses.
You can now stop generating an XTM Agent's response, for example, when you have made an error in your message. For details, see Stopping an XTM Agent response.
You can now move XTM Agent to a different location on a screen. For details, see Moving XTM Agent to a different location on the screen.
XTM Agent's response time has been reduced by 32%. At the same time, XTM Agent's accuracy has been improved, making it even more reliable.
25th January 2026 (Sunday) update
This interim release contains new features in addition to bug fixes (although Sunday updates are usually reserved for bug fixes).
The Intelligent Post-Editing feature has been released. It uses the power of Large Language Models and your XTM Cloud resources to automatically improve the quality and accuracy of translations generated by Linguists, MT engines, or other LLMs. For details, see Global Intelligent Post-Editing settings.
Users with the XTM Cloud Administrator role can:
activate the feature for your XTM Cloud instance. For details, see Activating Intelligent Post-Editing at global level.
manage the feature for your XTM Cloud instance. For details, see Managing Intelligent Post-Editing at global level.
deactivate the feature for your XTM Cloud instance. For details, see Deactivating Intelligent Post-Editing at global level.
create new or edit existing automatic workflow steps to enable the Intelligent Post-Editing feature in these steps. For details, see Workflow step settings.
XTM Cloud Administrators can then create a new workflow definition that contains such an automatic workflow step. For details, see Creating workflow definitions).
Users with the Project Manager role can add an automatic step that uses the Intelligent Post-Editing feature to their project workflow:
while creating a project (for details, see Creating a project: Workflow).
in the Workflow Editor (for details, see Editing workflow).
in Beta Workflow Editor by adding a new workflow step (for details, see Adding steps to a selected workflow definition in the Edit Workflow screen) or by changing an existing workflow step (for details, see Changing a step type in a selected workflow definition in the Edit Workflow screen).
General updates
The numbering system for XTM Cloud software versions has been changed. Release numbers now follow a semantic versioning scheme, which consists of the release year (major number) followed by a dot and a minor number representing the incremental release within that year. Therefore, version 25.6 indicates the sixth XTM Cloud release of 2025.
XTM Cloud now supports the Video Text Tracks (
VTT) file format. These files are analyzed by XTM Cloud. The translatable text is displayed as plain text in XTM Workbench, whereas the styling and custom variables are displayed as inline tags. Offline, preview and targetVTTfiles are generated. However,VTTfiles are not yet supported in Visual mode. For a list of all file formats supported by XTM Cloud, see File formats supported in XTM Cloud.
