Apply filters popup
To display the Apply filters popup, in XTM Workbench, in the top right-hand corner, select Filter
> Choose filters.
Note
In some cases, the Segment filter settings that you have selected, or that your Project Manager has predefined for your project, cause all segments in the relevant file to be filtered out. In this case, XTM Workbench will display a message to inform you that no segments have been found. To see the file segments again, adjust the filter values, or contact your Project Manager.
To create combined filters, select one of the operators at the top of the popup:
The AND operator means all of the conditions must be met, for a segment to be displayed.
The OR operator means that only one of the selected conditions must be met, for segments to be displayed.
Important
If any filter profile has been preselected by your Project Manager for the relevant project and you want to apply additional filter(s):
if you have been granted rights to modify this preselected profile filter – the operator (AND, OR) which you select to combine this filter profile with the additional filter will impact relationship between all applied filters, including the ones in the profile filter.
if you have NOT been granted rights to modify this preselected profile filter – regardless of the operator (AND, OR) which you select all applied filters will be linked using the AND operator, including the ones in the profile filter.
You can use the following options to help you navigate in the Apply filters popup:
Use the Show all button to expand all segment filter categories.
Use the Hide all button to collapse all segment filter categories.
Use the search box to search for a specific filter segment type. When you start typing, the segment filter categories list adjusts to match the search phrase.
At the bottom-right of the popup, the following buttons are displayed:
Apply – select it to apply the selected filters.
Save as – select it to save the selected filters as a filter profile. Your new filter profile is user-specific and therefore only available to you, in the Apply filters popup in the Filter profiles section.
Global segment filters, available to all users, can be created by your XTM Cloud Administrator. For details, see Segment filters tab.
Manage – select it to open the Segment filters tab screen, in the Settings popup. Here, you can save the selected filters and filter profiles as your favorite ones. You can also hide them, so that they are not displayed in the Apply filters popup. For details, see Segment filters settings in XTM Workbench.
Cancel – Use it to close the Apply filters popup. Alternatively, select the close icon
in the top-right corner of the popup.
Note
XTM Workbench stores the most recently set filters and applies them when you open the relevant project in XTM Workbench again.
